EU extends anti-Russian sanctions until March 15, 2019
The European Union has extended the sanctions against Russia for a further six months, until 15 March 2019, a statement posted on the EU website on Thursday said.
The website said the Council of the European Union "has prolonged the restrictive measures over actions undermining or threatening the territorial integrity, sovereignty and independence of Ukraine," the statement said.
"They currently apply to 155 persons and 44 entities," it said.
"The measures consist of asset freezes and travel restrictions," the statement said.
"The legal acts [...] will be available in the EU Official Journal of 14 September 2018," it said.
