On Wednesday night, the Ukrainian air defense eliminated 11 out of 15 shaheds launched by the Russian occupation forces from the north-eastern direction (Kursk), the press service of the Air Forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine reported.

"On the night of July 12, 2023, Russian invaders attacked Ukraine from the north-eastern direction (Kursk) with Iranian-made Shahed-136/131 attack drones. In total, 15 kamikaze drones were involved in the strike. Eleven of them were destroyed in the areas of responsibility of the air commands Center and East," it reported on Telegram on Wednesday morning.

In addition, it is noted that over the current and past days, the aviation of the Air Forces inflicted almost 30 group air strikes on the rear, military equipment, positions and the accumulation of enemy manpower.
