Ukrainian defenders hit several strategic Russian facilities involved in war – General Staff

On the night of March 11, units of the Defense Forces of Ukraine struck a number of strategic facilities of the Russian Federation involved in supporting armed aggression against Ukraine, the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine reports.
"In particular, a hit was recorded on the production facilities of the Moscow Oil Refinery, which is capable of processing 11 million tonnes of oil per year and provides 40-50% of the city of Moscow's needs in diesel and gasoline," the message states.
In addition, explosions were recorded in the area of the Steel Horse linear production control station in Oryol region of the Russian Federation, which provides control of technological processes of the Druzhba oil pipeline and is an important component in the processes of supplying oil to the terminal of the Ust-Luga seaport in Leningrad region.
It is known from open sources that as a result of the actions of the Russian aggressor's air defense, a number of civilian infrastructure facilities were damaged.
The operation involved units of the Unmanned Systems Forces and the Special Operations Forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, the Security Service of Ukraine and the Main Intelligence Agency of the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine, in cooperation with other components of the Defense Forces.
"The Ukrainian Defense Forces possess detailed information about strategic facilities involved in aiding armed aggression of the Russian Federation against Ukraine, adhere to the norms of international humanitarian law and take measures to maximally protect the civilian population," the General Staff emphasized.
