On Wednesday night, Russian invaders attacked Ukraine with 99 Shahed-type unmanned aerial vehicles and various types of imitation drones, 65 of them were shot down, and 30 enemy imitation drones were lost without negative consequences, according to the Telegram channel of the Air Force of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.

"The air attack was repelled by anti-aircraft missile forces, electronic warfare units, mobile fire groups of the Air Force and the Defense Forces of Ukraine. As of 10:00, it was confirmed that 65 Shahed-type attack UAVs and other types of drones were shot down in Poltava, Sumy, Kharkiv, Cherkasy, Chernihiv, Kyiv, Khmelnytsky, Dnipropetrovsk, Mykolaiv and Odesa regions," the report says.

According to preliminary estimates, there were no casualties or victims as a result of the nighttime enemy attack. At the same time, institutions, industrial enterprises, commercial buildings, private and apartment buildings in Mykolaiv, Dnipropetrovsk, Kyiv, Cherkasy, Sumy and Khmelnytsky regions were damaged. Special services are eliminating the consequences of damage.
