AFU takes 1,294 square km, 100 settlements in Kursk region under control – Syrsky
As of Tuesday, August 27, Ukraine controls 1,294 square kilometers of territory or 100 settlements in Kursk region of the Russian Federation, Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces of Ukraine Oleksandr Syrsky said.
“As of today, we continue to move forward, causing significant losses to the Russian troops in manpower and equipment. To date, we have taken control of 1,294 square kilometers of territory. One hundred settlements that are located on this territory,” Syrsky said at the Ukraine 2024. Independence forum in Kyiv on Tuesday.
