General Staff reports 144 combat clashes at front, 67 enemy air raids on Ukraine in past 24 hours
During the past 24 hours, Ukrainian defense positions and settlements came under one enemy missile strike and 67 air raids, during which the enemy dropped 79 guided bombs. In addition, the Russian occupation forces mounted 4,483 shelling attacks, 176 of which were launched from MLRS, the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU) has said on Thursday morning.
"The Russian aggressor launched airstrikes particularly at the areas of Druzhba, Tovstodubove, Sopych, Vilna Sloboda, Myropillia, Pavlivka, Velyka Pysarivka, Kozacha Lopan, Pokrovka, Kruhliakivka, Chasiv Yar, Toretsk, Pleschiyivka, Oleksandropil, Kostiantynivka, Maksymivka, and Makarivka," it said on Facebook.
The defense air, rocket, and artillery forces inflicted 16 strikes on the areas of concentration of the enemy personnel and military equipment, five rocket and artillery means of the occupiers, one control center, and one more important facility of the enemy forces.
A total of 144 combat clashes were recorded along the entire front line during the past day.
On the Kharkiv axis, the enemy carried out two assaults in the vicinity of Vovchansk.
On the Kupyansk axis, the enemy launched 15 attacks during the day. The defense forces repelled enemy assault attempts in the areas of Synkivka, Hlushkivka, Stelmakhivka, and Andriyivka. The aggressor also attacked the area of Lozova five times.
On the Lyman axis, the enemy carried out eleven assaults on eight settlements. Most of the combat clashes took place in the vicinity of Makiyivka and Novosadove, two and three respectively.
On the Siversk axis, the Ukrainian defenders repelled seven enemy storms near Bilohorivka, Spirne, and Vyimka.
On the Kramatorsk axis, the occupiers conducted twelve assault operations, focusing their efforts on Ivanivske and Chasiv Yar. The enemy assault aircraft fired 22 unguided missiles at the latter.
On the Toretsk axis, the enemy, covered by fighter jets, conducted 15 assault operations in the areas of Nelipivka, New York, Druzhba, and Toretsk.
On the Pokrovsk axis, the Ukrainian defenders stopped 53 assaults in the vicinity of eleven settlements. The occupiers were most active in the areas of Novohrodivka, Mykolaivka, Ptyche, and Zelene Pole.
On the Kurakhove axis, the defense forces repelled 20 enemy attempts to advance towards Krasnohorivka, Kostiantynivka, and Karlivka.
On the Vremiv axis, the enemy carried out six attacks in the vicinity of Vuhledar, Rozdolne, and Urozhaine. It also stormed the Ukrainian defense positions near Volodymyrivka.
On the Huliaipole, Orikhiv, and Prydniprovsky axes, the operational situation is without significant changes. The enemy did not carry out assault and offensive actions. The enemy inflicted air strikes on the areas of Novoandriyivka, Novodanylivka, Novodaryivka, and Pyatykhatky.
No signs of the formation of enemy offensive groups were recorded on the Volyn and Polissia axes.
On the border with Chernihiv region, the enemy maintains a military presence.
The operation of the defense forces in Kursk region, Russia, continues.
All along the entire battle line, the Ukrainian defenders inflict tangible losses in manpower and equipment on the occupying forces, deplete the enemy's combat potential, hit the deep rear, disrupting the system of its logistics.
Over the past 24 hours the losses of the Russian invaders amounted to 1,190 people. Also, Ukrainian soldiers destroyed four tanks, 32 armored combat vehicles, 45 artillery systems, one MLRS, air defense equipment, 27 UAVs of operational-tactical level, 49 vehicles, and six units of special equipment of the occupiers.
