EU, Netherlands launching new EUR 8 mln project to strengthen material support for Interior Ministry
The EU Advisory Mission to Ukraine, with the support of the Government of the Netherlands, is launching a new EUR 8 million project "Supporting civil security sector authorities in the implementation of stabilization measures and the restoration of public administration, security and social cohesion in the liberated and adjacent territories of Ukraine," the press service of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Ukraine reports.
According to the department's Telegram channel, the presentation of the project with the participation of Ambassador of the Kingdom of the Netherlands to Ukraine Jennes de Mol took place on Friday, July 12.
"We highly appreciate your support for the civil security forces, in particular the bodies of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Ukraine, which perform key functions in maintaining security and stability within the country, while also directly participating in repelling the enemy on the front line," Deputy Minister of Internal Affairs of Ukraine Kateryna Pavlichenko said at the meeting.
The department reports that the project will significantly strengthen the material support for the Ministry of Internal Affairs units, and provides not only advisory assistance and advisory functions.
