Zelenskyy on Russian UAV attack on Kharkiv: Terror cannot go unpunished

President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskyy reacted to the Russian UAV attack on Kharkiv on Saturday night.

"Reality always speaks louder than any words. Last night, due to a fire after a suicide drone strike in Kharkiv, a whole family died: parents and three children. The eldest son, Oleksiy, 7 years old, the middle one, Mykhailo, 4 years old, the smallest, Pavlo, he was 7 months old. Children who had not yet seen life and were killed because of Russian madness. Another family also died: husband and wife. My condolences to all family and friends!" Zelenskyy wrote on his Telegram channel on Saturday.

The President added that the rescue operation was ongoing in Kharkiv; four people were rescued, including one child. Dozens of people in the city were evacuated.

"All necessary services have been involved, and every victim will be provided with the necessary assistance," Zelenskyy said.

He also thanked everyone who supports Ukraine and its people in protecting themselves from Russian terror, adding that "every show of support is critically important."

"And it is also important to understand that terror cannot remain unpunished. Terror cannot remain without a fair answer. Terrorists must lose this war that they started. Russia must answer for every life it has destroyed. Only in this way will security for everyone again become part of reality," Zelenskyy emphasized.
