Ukraine's Restoration Forum takes place in Istanbul

The Forum of Reconstruction of Ukraine is taking place in Istanbul; it began with a meeting between Turkish Trade Minister Omer Bolat and Transport and Infrastructure Minister Abdulkadir Uraloglu with Deputy Prime Minister of Ukraine Oleksandr Kubrakov.

"Had fruitful meetings with Omer Bolat and Abdulkadir Uraloglu who hosted the Forum of Reconstruction of Ukraine - initiative fostering collaboration in rebuilding and developing affected regions. It demonstrates a strong commit," Kubrakov said on X.

He indicated that the forum would help increase the trade potential of countries, expand logistics and foreign economic relations.

"We have a common goal – the Black Sea is to become an area of cooperation, trade and economic growth. Important to attract private investments in the recovery of infrastructure. This year, the priority are projects aimed at restoring energy, housing, critical and social infrastructure," Kubrakov said.

The Turkish Trade Minister, in turn, emphasized that the experience gained from successful projects implemented to date by Turkish contractors in various regions of the world would become the cornerstone of cooperation between the two countries, especially in reconstruction in Ukraine.

"Additionally, with H.E. Kubrakov, we conducted significant assessments on increasing our mutual trade volume and enhancing economic relations between the two countries," he said on X.
