One of the two people who worked at the granary in Odesa, where the Russian occupiers launched a missile strike on Monday night, was found dead, the search for the second continues, said head of Odesa Regional Military Administration Oleh Kiper.

"Unfortunately, as a result of the Russian night attack, we have a dead person. A Russian missile hit the warehouse where the grain was stored. Two people who had been working in the room since the night did not get in touch. At 12:15, the body of one of the missing was found under the rubble. Search and rescue operations are continuing," Kiper wrote on Telegram on Monday.

The head of the regional administration expressed condolences to the relatives and friends of the deceased.

As it was reported, before that, Kiper said on the air of the national telethon that two people were being searched and they could be in the bomb shelter of the granary. "Unfortunately, we cannot find two people who have not been in touch until now, who worked at this warehouse. And now we are sorting out all the rubble … We hope that they are alive and we will be able to help them, since they went down to the bomb shelter that was under this warehouse and there is no communication with them at this time," he said.
