Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky has stated that the country needs "powerful specifics and acceleration of arms supplies" in relations with the European Union.

"We need specifics and help on the speed of our armament. It should not only be Soviet, although we are grateful for everything," he said Sunday at a briefing after a meeting with Croatian Prime Minister Andrej Plenkovic.

"We need technology, knowledge, we would like to get this experience. Many European countries have modern military technology. We are showing success in the missile field. And we are ready to share our experience. Europe has its own advanced technologies in other areas," he said.

According to Zelensky, "so far we don't have such access as every country in Europe or every country of the Alliance.

He also mentioned the need for assistance to Ukraine in the economic and energy spheres. "The shortage of energy resources, which is and will be, complicates our life. The enemy is hitting Kremenchug refinery and the routes we could use to import both gasoline and diesel," the president said.
