The lightning-fast punitive action that Russia planned to carry out in Ukraine in one or two days failed miserably, so the Russian military-political leadership becomes more dangerous, understanding that the Hague Tribunal awaits it ahead, Secretary of the National Security and Defense Council (NSDC) of Ukraine Oleksiy Danilov said.

"The sixth day of Ukrainian national resistance. Ukrainians, our Armed Forces, troops, everyone who took up arms are doing the impossible, holding back and inflicting crushing retaliatory strikes on the Russian occupying army, which the Kremlin for some reason considered invincible... The fact that the military criminals in Moscow planned to complete in one or two days as a lightning-fast punitive action, failed miserably. It became clear to the whole world, and they are beginning to understand little by little in Russia itself. That is why the Kremlin rats driven into a dead end become especially dangerous, crossing the border and rejecting any legal, moral, legal restrictions in the rules of war," Danilov said on his Facebook page on Tuesday.

He said that undersatnsing that ahead of all the Russian military-political leadership they expect only the prospects of the Hague Tribunal, they "go all-in."

"Only this can explain the barbarous shelling of the one and a half million city of Kharkiv by the hailstones. The destruction of the historical pearl of Europe - the city of Chernihiv, the shelling of Bucha, Irpin, Hostomel and dozens of other Ukrainian cities and villages. The city of Volnovakha is on the verge of a humanitarian catastrophe. The wounded, the dead, deprived of their own homes. This list of crimes of Russia against Ukraine and its people will be presented to international courts and no one will be able to escape punishment. We promise them," the Secretary of the National Security and Defense Council said.

Danilov said the sixth day of resistance to the invaders was difficult and tense, but the enemy is currently on the verge of exhaustion, while the Ukrainian resistance forces are only getting stronger every day.

"We have the entire Ukrainian people and the support of the most influential countries in the world behind us. Russia is a terrorist country left in flagrant loneliness, without allies, without honor and dignity! We fight, hold on, and death to the enemies! Glory to Ukraine!" Danilov said.
