Advisors to Normandy Four leaders discuss fulfillment of 2019 Paris agreements - President's Office

Head of the Ukrainian President's Office Andriy Yermak took part in a meeting of political advisors to the leaders of the Normandy format member states in Berlin on Tuesday and discussed the fulfillment of the agreements reached at the Paris summit in December 2019, the Ukrainian President's Office press service said in a statement.

"In particular, the parties touched upon all issues on the agenda - from security to humanitarian ones. The discussion was complicated yet constructive. All parties noted the importance of adhering to the ceasefire regime in Donbas," the statement said.

The Ukrainian delegation accentuated the need to strengthen the security component of the agreements, it said.

Yermak thanked the German delegation for organizing the meeting and partners from Germany and France for supporting Ukraine on the path to peace in Donbas.

The meeting was also attended by Special Representative of the OSCE Chairperson-in-Office in the Trilateral Contact Group on settlement of the military conflict in Donbas Heidi Grau.

"A break has now been announced, the meeting at the level of political advisors will be continued on Friday, January 22," the statement said.
