Work on Anticorruption Court draft law underway

Representative of the Ukrainian president in the Verkhovna Rada, Iryna Lutsenko, refutes accusations that the draft law on the Anti-Corruption Court is being dragged out by the president and declares that he will submit his bill to the parliament.

"Informing our colleagues from the opposition factions that if the working group is not created, the president will submit a law on the Anticorruption Court ... We are not procrastinating," Lutsenko said at a meeting of the conciliatory council of the faction leaders, committees and groups in parliament on Monday.

She urged people's deputies to do their part of the work and withdraw the deputy bill on the Anti-Corruption Court, which was previously registered in the parliament.

"Let's finish our work and still recall the deputy bill, and in this way we will unblock the introduction of the draft law on the Anticorruption Court by the president of Ukraine," she said.
