The meeting of the Ukraine-NATO commission at the level of foreign ministers is planned for early December of this year 2017, head of the mission of Ukraine to NATO Vadym Prystaiko has said.

"We plan to have a high-level visit and a Ukraine-NATO commission at the level of foreign ministers at the beginning of December," Prystaiko said in an interview with the Uriadovy Kurier published on Tuesday.

At the same time, he noted that the holding of a special meeting of the Ukraine-NATO Commission at the highest level with the participation of the President of Ukraine Petro Poroshenko is a priority for Ukraine. "Now the mission is working on this," Prystaiko said.

"Also, until then, the results of the implementation of the comprehensive program of Ukraine's support from the Alliance, the work of the trust funds will have been summarized. Then it will be possible to declare a certain stage for us. And it is also planned that until that time we will receive support for our application for joining the program of expanded opportunities for special partners (Enhance Opportunity Program). That is, Ukraine should be invited to this program. We are working on it," the head of the mission said.

Prystaiko also said that the visit of Ukrainian Defense Minister Stepan Poltorak to Brussels to participate in the NATO ministerial meeting on November 9-10 is still in question.
