Zakharchenko's declaration on Malorossiya shows Putin's aggressive plans, unwillingness to peacefully solve situation

The statement by head of the so-called Donetsk People's Republic (DPR) Oleksandr Zakharchenko, about the creation of Malorossiya testifies to the Kremlin's aggressive plans and the lack of intention to follow the peaceful resolution of the conflict in the east of the country and is an argument in favor of Ukraine's adoption of the law on de-occupation of Donbas, Secretary of the National Security and Defense Council of Ukraine Oleksandr Turchynov has said.

"The statements of the Kremlin clown puppets who call themselves the leaders of the occupied Donbas, about the creation of Malorossiya is more proof of Putin's aggressive plans and his maniacal reluctance to resolve issues in the east of Ukraine by peaceful means," Turchynov said on Facebook on Tuesday afternoon.

The secretary of the National Security and Defense Council is convinced that the representatives of the Russian leadership are the true authors of the intentions voiced by Zakharchenko and this "testifies to the desire of the Moscow" strategists" to resume again the advance of military aggression to the west, drawing new regions of Ukraine into bloody millstones."

At the same time, Turchynov said that such plans are "another argument in favor of the adoption of the law "On the peculiarities of state policy for restoring Ukraine's sovereignty over the temporarily occupied territory of Donetsk and Luhansk regions" and the need to accelerate the liberation of the east of the country from Russian invaders and criminally separatist thugs controlled by them."

The secretary of the National Security and Defense Council of Ukraine expressed conviction that "the fate of the Kremlin plan Malorossiya-17 will be similar to Novorossiya-14 or any other Putin format."
