Kyiv not to cancel 'blacklists' of Russian cultural figures for Eurovision 2017

Ukrainian Deputy Prime Minister Viacheslav Kyrylenko has denied the possibility of cancelling the 'blacklists' of Russian cultural figures for the Eurovision Song Contest 2017.

"They have now again spread misinformation in Russia, and not through Russian, but through the European media with doubtful reputation, stating that the so-called blacklists will allegedly be cancelled for Eurovision and all these Russian pop singers will come flooding in to sing here and tell us that there is no Ukraine and Crimea is originally Russian - it's totally untrue," he said on Ukrainian Radio.

Kyrylenko said the requirement for the removal of a cultural figure from the 'blacklist' is the recognition by him of the territorial integrity of Ukraine and "the Russian aggression."
