Ukraine's Verkhovna Rada has introduced the private court officer institute.

Some 239 lawmakers passed bill No. 2506a about agencies and officers executing court rulings and legal directives of other state agencies on Thursday.

The document envisages the introduction of the private court officer institute in Ukraine's judicial system.

"This step will remove many red tape procedures. We introduce the mixed court directives execution system and the private court officer institute," Ukrainian Justice Minister Pavlo Petrenko said, presenting the president's bill for first reading.

He said that private officers will work in the sphere of business, while family disputes and court instructions related to matters of state would be executed by public officers.

The minister said that Ukrainian citizens who have court decisions be guaranteed that the decisions will be carried out.

He said that unfortunately, only 20% of court decisions are executed today in Ukraine.

The parliament also passed bill No. 2507a on court enforcement action. A total of 253 lawmakers backed the measure.

The document is related to the previous bill and determines the terms and procedures for the forced execution of legal directions of courts and other agencies.

The bill indicates the principles of court enforcement action, as well as the list of decisions that are to be executed by force.
