Yatseniuk refutes accusations of his lobbying oligarchs' interests

Ukrainian Prime Minister Arseniy Yatseniuk strongly refuted the accusation of Odesa governor Mikheil Saakashvili that Yatseniuk is lobbying oligarchs' interests, particularly Ihor Kolomoisky's and Rinat Akhmetov's.

"First of all I'm not going to be a Georgian President," the PM reacted to Saakashvili's accusations at the 12th YES forum in Kyiv on Saturday.

As an argument to contradict t Saakashvili, Yatseniuk reminded of his support of lowering quorum in joint stock companies to 50% + 1 share, which affected Kolomoisky's positions in Ukrnafta.

"We held a meeting, appointed a new head [UK national, elected via the contest Mark Rollins]. [I] met with him yesterday and discussed all the conditions of the contract, and he works there," the PM said.

As for Akhmetov, Yatseniuk said that his raising rent and taxes created pressure on Akhmetov's business.
