The Ukrainian defense forces were engaged into 123 combat clashes at the front line during the past 24 hours, the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU) has said on Saturday morning, adding that the Ukrainian army repulsed 24 enemy attacks in the Toretsk axis and 36 – in the Pokrovsk axis.

"In the past 24 hours, 123 combat clashes were recorded. […] The enemy made 24 attempts to cut in our defense in the Toretsk axis, the vicinity of Pivnichne, Toretsk, New York, and Zalizne. In the Pokrovsk axis, our defenders repulsed 36 assaults in the areas of Novooleksandrivka, Zhelanne, Vozdvyzhenka, Ivanivka, Novoselivka Persha, and Kalynove, where the enemy tried to push our units out of their lines," it said on the Telegram channel.

In the Kharkiv axis, the enemy forces continued its offensive operations. Six combat clashes occurred in the area of Hlyboke, Tykhe, and Vovchansk in Kharkiv region. In the Kupyansk axis, three combat clashes were recorded in the past 24 hours. The defense forces repulsed enemy attacks in the vicinity of Stelmakhivka in Kharkiv region.

In the Lyman axis, the AFU repulsed 15 enemy attacks near Makiyivka in Luhansk region, Terny and Torske in Donetsk region. In the Siversky axis, the defense forces repelled eleven attacks in the vicinity of Ivano-Daryivka, Spirne, Verkhniokamyanske, Pereyizne, and Vyimka.

In the Kramatorsk axis, the defense forces stopped twelve enemy assaults near Chasiv Yar, Ivanivske, Klischiyivka in Donetsk region. In the Kurakhove axis, the AFU continue to contain the enemy in the vicinity of Krasnohorivka and Kostiantynivka, where the enemy made three attempts to break through the Ukrainian defense positions. In the Vremiv axis, the adversary made five unsuccessful attempts to break through the defense line towards Vodiane and Stepova Novosilka in Donetsk region.

In the Orikhiv axis, two combat clashes occurred in the area of Novodanylivka and Novoandriyivka in Zaporizhia region.

"In the Volyn and Polissia axes, the operational situation did not change significantly. […] On the border with Chernihiv and Sumy regions, the adversary maintains military presence, conducts sabotage and reconnaissance operations, shells the settlements from the territory of Russia," the General Staff said.
