General Staff reports enemy assaults along all frontline, especially intensive in Pokrovsk axis
The tensest situation is observed in the Pokrovsk axis, where 32 enemy assaults have been repulsed since the beginning of the day, the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU) has said in the 4 p.m. updates on Tuesday, adding that 74 enemy assault attempts were recorded along the entire front line.
"Since the beginning of the day, the total number of combat clashes along the entire front line has increased to 74. The occupation forces continue to use aircraft, particularly guided air bombs, and mount attacks on all directions in the south and east of our country, especially actively – in the Pokrovsk axis," it said on Facebook.
In the Kharkiv axis, four combat clashes were recorded during the day. Three enemy assaults were repulsed in the vicinity of Vovchansk and the fourth one is ongoing.
In the Kupyansk axis, the Russian forces tried to improve their tactical position in the areas of Novoosynove and Pischane three times. Two combat clashes continue at the moment.
In the Lyman axis, the Russian forces attacked the areas of Makiyivka, Nevske, Verkhniokamyanske, Pereyizne, Vyimka, and the Serebrianske Forestry. Twelve combat clashes have been recorded in this direction, six of which are ongoing.
The General Staff also reported a combat clash in the Chasiv Yar area, the Kramatorsk axis. In the Toretsk axis, the adversary, covered by fighter jets, attacked the AFU positions six times. The hostilities currently continue near Pivnichne and New York.
"The situation remains tense in the Pokrovsk axis. Fierce hostilities are ongoing in the areas of Zelene Pole, Kalynove, Vozdvyzhenka, Novooleksandrivka, Vesele, Serhiyivka, Lysychne, Tymofiyivka, and Yasnoborodivka. As of this moment, the enemy made 32 assault attempts on the Ukrainian positions," it said.
In the Kurakhove axis, there is an ongoing battle in the vicinity of Krasnohorivka. Nine enemy storms were repulsed near Paraskoviyivka and Kostiantynivka. In the Vremivka axis. Four enemy assaults on the Velyka Novoselivka direction were repelled.
In the Orikhiv axis, one attack was repulsed. The invaders actively shell the areas of Omelnyk, Novoandriyivka, and Novodanylivka.
No significant changes were recorded in other directions.
