In Sumy, second person found dead from strike on residential building – Emergency Service
Employees of the State Emergency Service of Ukraine released the body of the second person killed while clearing the rubble of a five-story residential building in Sumy, which was hit by a Russian unmanned aerial vehicle.
"Now we know about two dead and eight injured people as a result of a night Russian attack on the city. Work continues," the State Emergency Service said in the Telegram channel on Wednesday.
Earlier, Sumy regional military administration said in Sumy, as a result of the Shahed UAV hitting a five-story building, there were wounded and dead, but the number of dead was not specified. "As a result of an enemy UAV of the Shahed type hitting a five-story residential building, 30 apartments were previously damaged, 15 of them were destroyed. According to preliminary information, ten people were rescued from the rubble, eight of whom received injuries of varying severity. Unfortunately, there are dead (information is being clarified)," the service said.
Later, the State Emergency Service reported that while clearing the rubble, the body of the deceased was found.
