Kuleba: It's not about invincible Russia, but about Ukrainian soldiers having everything they need

It's not about invincible Russia, but about Ukrainian soldiers having everything they need to fight Russian aggression, Foreign Minister of Ukraine Dmytro Kuleba said.

At a press conference in Lithuania with Lithuanian, Latvian, Estonian and French colleagues on Friday, Kuleba said that today in Lithuania they had an "honest and candid conversation" and jointly identified several "practical joint steps that will provide answers to questions post in Paris," in particular this concerns weapons, ammunition, and air defense.

"When Ukraine has everything it needs, we shoot down Russian planes, we liberate our territories, we sink Russian ships, we prevail. It's not a matter of invincible Russia. It's only a matter of availability of everything that Ukraine needs to Ukrainian soldiers," Kuleba said.

He also said he "sincerely does not understand" why the issue of training missions in Ukraine causes such difficulties and controversy.

"Between 2014 and 2022 there was a whole range of training missions operating in Ukraine, very effectively, and I see no reason why this cannot continue. Bring back your instructors, install an air defense system to protect the training facility, and that's it. Because in a war of this scale, what matters logistical lack. If you can train soldiers faster, you get advantage. If you can repair your equipment faster, you get advantage," Kuleba said.

According to the minister, the most effective way to do all these things is not only abroad, but also in Ukraine.
