Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, Oleksandr Syrsky, published the first appeal after his appointment, outlining the main tasks.

"From the bottom of my heart, I thank every soldier, sergeant, officer and general for the joint implementation of operational plans, which made it possible to save the lives of thousands of civilians and save the territory of Ukraine from occupation! There are new tasks on the agenda. First of all, it is a clear and detailed planning of the actions of all military authorities, associations, formations and units, taking into account the needs of the front in the latest weapons that come from international partners," the commander-in-chief wrote on his Telegram channel.

Syrsky pointed out that the speedy and rational distribution and delivery of everything necessary for combat units has been and remains the main task of military logistics.

"It is the task of headquarters at all levels to know all the needs of the front without exception and to control the situation in each of its sections. It is the qualification of the personnel of the military authorities that is crucial for the development and successful implementation of plans. The life and health of servicemen have always been and are the main value of the Ukrainian army," he added.

The Commander-in-chief noted that maintaining a balance between the performance of combat missions and the restoration of units and detachments with the intensification of training of personnel “remains more relevant than ever.”

He also pointed out that the introduction of new technical solutions and scaling up successful experience, such as the use of unmanned systems, modern electronic warfare equipment, is one of the future vectors of building victory in the war.

"Only changes and constant improvement of the means and methods of warfare will make it possible to achieve success on this path. But, of course, a reliable rear is one of the main components of overall success in the war. Thanks to the former leaders of the Armed Forces of Ukraine and veterans who, over the 10 years of the Russian-Ukrainian war, made every possible effort to restore and acquire the abilities of the Ukrainian army - a real, strong foundation of our statehood! Let’s unite! Together to Victory!" said Syrsky.
