AFU to continue operating to destroy delivery vehicles, control airspace to eliminate threat of terrorism, incl in Belgorod-Kharkiv direction
The Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU) are taking all measures to protect Ukraine and Ukrainians, and will also continue to take measures to destroy delivery vehicles and control airspace to eliminate the terrorist threat, including in Belgorod-Kharkiv direction, the General Staff said.
"In order to reduce the missile threat, the Armed Forces of Ukraine not only control the airspace, but also monitor in detail the launch points of missiles and the logistics of their delivery, especially with the use of military transport aircraft. The recorded intensity of shelling is directly related to the increase in the number of military transport aircraft, which Recently they were heading to Belgorod airfield," the General Staff said on the Telegram channel.
Taking this into account, the General Staff noted, AFU will continue to take measures to destroy delivery vehicles and control airspace to eliminate the terrorist threat, including in Belgorod-Kharkiv direction.
The Ukrainian Armed Forces said the enemy's inability to achieve any results on the battlefield continues his strategy of terror, including in Kharkiv direction.
"We see the use of missiles to destroy Kharkiv and kill civilians in other cities of Ukraine. Over the last week alone, the enemy launched 19 missile strikes in Kharkiv region. Used: 26 S-300 missile launchers; three Iskander-M ballistic missiles," the General Staff said.
As a result of these enemy actions, some 16 people were killed, including one child. Some 78 people were injured, some 13 buildings were destroyed, including one hospital, three educational institutions, and six residential buildings.
