Germany will continue to provide military support to Ukraine in 2024, in particular, air defense systems will be supplied, German Ambassador Martin Jäeger said.

"Further air defense systems from Germany will be delivered in 2024. In addition, Germany will continue to supply heavy equipment, artillery ammunition, engineering equipment and will cover many other needs of the Armed Forces of Ukraine," Jaeger said in a joint video message with Ukrainian Ambassador to Germany Oleksiy Makeyev on the occasion of the 32nd anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations.

He also stressed that Germany has long been focused on the restoration of Ukraine - there is no point in waiting for the end of the war to begin this process.

"And now the traditional annual conference on the restoration of Ukraine will be held in Berlin in June. Presidents and prime ministers, officials and diplomats, representatives of the non-governmental sector and experts, and most importantly, big business, entrepreneurs will gather," said Makeyev.
