The Nova Poshta group plans to equip front-line terminals with security capsules similar to those in residential buildings in Israel, as well as make changes to the operating mode of the terminals, company co-founder Viacheslav Klymov said in an interview with Babel on Tuesday.

"There will definitely be changes in the operating mode of the terminals, especially in areas like Kharkiv, because there already are certain arrival statistics," Klymov said.

"We are thinking about how to make something like Israeli capsules in residential buildings in the terminals. They are needed precisely for cases when there is no time even to run to the shelter," the co-founder of Novaya Poshta added.

According to him, the company has experience in installing security capsules: they are already working in the branches of Kharkiv and Mykolaiv.

Earlier, on October 23, the second co-founder of Nova Poshta, Volodymyr Popereshniuk, said that the company would provide the necessary medical, psychological and material assistance to those affected by rocket attacks of the occupiers. Financial assistance from the company to each family of the deceased will be UAH 60,000, and if the family has children, they will receive UAH 10,000 monthly until they reach adulthood, and after that – a grant and training worth $12,500.

As reported, on October 21, at around 10:15 p.m., Russian occupation forces launched a missile attack on the Nova Poshta terminal in the village of Korotych near Kharkiv. As a result, six people were killed (all employees of Nova Poshta), and another 17 were injured.
