The defenders of Kharkiv region reached the state border of Ukraine and restored the border marker there, head of the regional military administration Oleh Synehubov said.

"Defenders of Kharkiv region have reached the state border of Ukraine. We are proud of the fighters of the 227th battalion of the 127th brigade of the Territorial Defense Forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, who restored the border sign on the state border section! Thanks to everyone who, risking their lives, liberates Ukraine from Russian invaders," Synehubov wrote in his telegram channel.

He also posted a video showing Ukrainian soldiers near the restored border marker.

"Mr. President, Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, I report: today, April 15, 227th Battalion of the 127th Brigade of the Territorial Defense Forces reached the border, on the dividing line with the Russian Federation, with the occupying country. We have reached it, Mr. President, we are here!" one of the soldiers said.
