Also, according to the results of the survey, 60% of Belarusians expect the deterioration of living conditions in connection with Russia's military invasion of Ukraine.

The results of the survey were presented by Ryhor Astapenia, director of the Belarusian Initiative Chatham House.

Chatham House polled 896 respondents from March 5 to March 14, 2022. The sample corresponds to the structure of the urban population of Belarus and is adjusted for gender, age, size of settlements and level of education.

The survey was conducted via internet-based interviews (CAWI), which in practice means that the sample was limited to Internet users. Although according to various sources, 75-82% of the population of Belarus uses the Internet, Internet users are more economically and socially active.
