The technological system to counter anti-Ukrainian broadcasting will eventually be launched along the entire Ukrainian-Russian border and in the south of Ukraine, Secretary of the National Security and Defense Council Oleksandr Turchynov has said.

"We will propose to place along the Ukrainian-Russian border an appropriate technological system so that the Russian propaganda aggressive information war cannot overcome our information borders," Turchynov said at a meeting of the military cabinet in Kyiv on Thursday.

The NSDC secretary noted that this technology will be applied along the entire Ukrainian-Russian border after it is be tested in Donetsk and Luhansk regions.

"It is very important that we are now processing this technology in Donetsk and Luhansk regions first, and then we will spread it along the entire Ukrainian-Russian border, as well as in the south of our state," Turchynov noted.

In turn, Ukrainian President Petro Poroshenko drew the NSDC secretary's attention to the fact that the system of countering anti-Ukrainian broadcasting should be placed not only along the Ukrainian-Russian border, but along the Ukrainian-Moldovan border in the Transdniestrian section.

"There is also the possibility of organizing information sabotage in Odesa region ... Stability and tranquility in Odesa region is also a priority task for us," the president said.
