Two Ukrainian servicemen have been killed and ten others wounded in the military operation zone in Donbas over the past 24 hours, Ukrainian presidential spokesman for the operation Andriy Lysenko said at a news briefing in Kyiv on Saturday.

"The operational losses for the past 24 hours are: two servicemen killed and ten others wounded," Lysenko said.

"A truck hit an antitank mine near the village of Slavne, the Maryinka district, after 11:00 p.m. yesterday. The explosion killed one Ukrainian serviceman, and seven others sustained injuries," he said.

Another Ukrainian serviceman was killed in an exchange of fire, Lysenko said.

"A total of ten Ukrainian servicemen were wounded. One of them sustained injuries by setting off a tripwire mine, and two servicemen were injured by shelling," Lysenko said.
