The European Union has decided to establish an expert mission to assist in the reform of law enforcement agencies in Ukraine, according to a communique of a meeting of the Foreign Affairs Council.

The council decided to establish a mission in the framework of the EU Common Security and Defense Policy to help Ukraine in the civil security sector reform, including the reform of law enforcement agencies, the document says.

The advance team to prepare for the mission's activities will go to Ukraine this summer.
