More than 1,000 drones received by several brigades from Kyiv hromada for new year
Eight units have received a total of more than a thousand unmanned aerial vehicles from Kyiv community (hromada) by the new year, said mayor of the capital Vitali Klitschko.
"It has traditionally been the third year in a row that I have met with soldiers at the front. This time I visited eight units in Kharkiv direction and in Donbas. I have brought more than a thousand drones of various types, which the fighters have requested," Klitschko wrote on Telegram on Wednesday.
In particular, fighters of the 42nd and 28th Separate Mechanized Brigades received 300 FPV drones each, 63rd and 100 Separate Mechanized Brigades received 50 Mavic 3T each. In addition, Klitschko brought 24 Matrice UAVs and batteries to the Achilles 92 battalion, 90 Mavic 3T night drones for the 3rd Separate Mechanized Brigades, 240 night and day Mavics and two Pegasus bombers for Kyiv Separate Mechanized Brigade, and 10 Mavic and two electronic warfare systems for the Voron tactical group of the National Guard of Ukraine.
