Yermak meets with Trump team’s reps, both chambers, Congress parties in USA

The Ukrainian delegation headed by First Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Economy of Ukraine Yulia Svyrydenko is paying a visit to the United States, during which head of the President’s Office of Ukraine Andriy Yermak visited Washington, New York and Florida.

As reported on the website of the President's Office on Friday morning, Yermak held meetings with representatives of the team of U.S. President-elect Donald Trump. He spoke in detail about the situation at the front and handed over the flags of the Ukrainian combat brigades.

"The parties discussed Russia's plans, as well as what steps should be taken to disrupt them," the message reads.

At the White House, the head of the President’s Office met with the National Security Adviser to the U.S. President Jacob Sullivan. Yermak also held meetings with Chairman of the U.S. Helsinki Commission and co-chairman of the Congressional Ukraine Caucus Joe Wilson, Co-chairman of the U.S. Senate Judiciary Committee Lindsey Graham, leader of the Republican Party in the U.S. Senate Mitch McConnell, Deputy Secretary of State John Bass and leader of the Democratic Party in the House of Representatives Hakeem Jeffries.
