Zelenskyy: We rely on military, financial aid from USA; not to be able to win without it
Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy intends to hold a conversation with U.S. President Joseph Biden on the issue of using American long-range weapons for strikes deep into Russia.
"If I am optimistic about their [U.S.] decision to give us permission to use long-range weapons, this decision does not depend on my optimism. It depends on their optimism... This is crucial for us now... In any case, I am counting on dialogue with President Biden this month," Zelenskyy said at a press conference within the Crimea Platform in Kyiv on Wednesday, answering a question about how optimistic he is about the prospects of receiving the relevant permission.
"Our dialogue every week and every month with the United States is very important for us. They provide us and have provided us with the greatest support, military and financial. Therefore, we count on this, and indeed we will not be able to win without it," the head of the Ukrainian state said.
