More than UAH 97 million received to the account of the Ministry of Economy to finance humanitarian demining activities within the framework of the UNITED24 platform will be used to purchase machinery and equipment for demining, the press service of the Ministry of Economy reported.

The ministry said that these funds will be distributed between the State Emergency Service and the State Special Transport Service for the following purposes:

- to help the State Special Transport Service with the acquisition of a heavy-type remote mechanized mine clearance vehicle (analogous to the MV-10).

- also for the purchase of 400 protective fences and 400 protective aprons for humanitarian demining for the State Special Transport Service.

- for the purchase of two truck tractors for the State Emergency Service for the transportation of remote mechanized demining vehicles.

- for the purchase of three light armored pyrotechnic vehicles for the transportation of explosive objects for the State Emergency Service.

Deputy Minister of Economy Ihor Bezkaravayny also proposed that the applicants continue to focus on purchasing domestically produced equipment.
