The Odesa customs of the State Fiscal Service of Ukraine this year has transferred UAH 163.6 million for road repairs within an experiment on financial support for the reconstruction, repairs of public roads of national importance due to the over-fulfillment of the customs payments plan.

The press service of the main directorate of the State Fiscal Service in Odesa region said in November UAH 59.7 million was sent for road repairs in Odesa region, including the repair of the Odesa-Reni highway, due to the over-fulfillment of the plan for customs payments this month by UAH 120.6 million.

As reported, Poroshenko in September 2015 signed law No. 666-VIII on amendments to Section IV "Final and Transitional Provisions" of the Budget Code of Ukraine regarding conducting an experiment in Odesa, Volyn, Lviv and Chernivtsi regions for the financial support for reconstruction, repairs of public roads of national importance.
