Kyiv to assess possibility of restoring house where Russian missile destroyed entrance and killed 13 people – mayor

An ad hoc commission to inspect the house in Kyiv damaged by a Russian missile, where an entrance was destroyed and 13 people died, will issue a conclusion on the possibility of its restoration in two weeks, said Kyiv's Mayor Vitali Klitschko.
"An ad hoc commission created by the city has started working to inspect the residential building on Syrets damaged by a Russian missile on July 8. Today, a meeting was held on-site... In two weeks, experts are expected to make technical conclusions on the possibility of restoring the building, where the entrance was destroyed and 13 people died, including five children," Klitschko said, as quoted by the press service of the Kyiv City Military Administration on Telegram on Thursday.
According to the mayor, this is the highest number of people killed by Russia in a single residential building in the capital since the beginning of the large-scale war.
Klitschko stated that the entrance of the building was completely destroyed, and other entrances and nearby buildings, including a school, were significantly damaged.
"Residents of this and neighboring buildings (about 100 people in total) are being provided with all necessary assistance from the city. People who reached out... the city authorities have helped with temporary housing. The lists of residents who also need relocation are being clarified. People are turning to the operational headquarters working in the districts of the capital," Klitschko said.
