Moldovan President calls for urgent support for Ukraine after Russian attack on Odesa during Zelenskyy-Mitsotakis' meeting
Moldovan President Maia Sandu condemned the Russian attack on Odesa during a meeting between Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy and Greek Prime Minister Kyriakos Mitsotakis, calling for urgent support from Kyiv.
"Moldova vehemently condemns Russia's brazen missile attack on Odesa. The targeting of Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy's and Greek Prime Minister Kyriakos Mitsotakis' meeting location is unsettling. Russia's war on Ukraine poses a direct threat to our shared security in Europe. Urgent support for Ukraine is imperative," Sandu said on the X social network.
Earlier on Wednesday, the Russian army attacked Odesa with a missile while Greek Prime Minister Mitsotakis was visiting the city, who was scheduled to meet with Ukrainian President Zelenskyy.
