Over last two months, Defense Ministry, AFU implement four more NATO standards
The Ministry of Defense and the Armed Forces of Ukraine have implemented new NATO standards, in particular, we are talking about the implementation of "air and space operations," the Defense Ministry press service said on Tuesday.
"During October-November 2023, four more NATO standards were introduced in the Ministry of Defense and the Armed Forces of Ukraine. Among them: 'Education and training for operations in an urban environment' (providing standardized training in preparation for combat operations in large populated areas); 'NATO Airborne Operations Tactics, Techniques and Procedures' (providing commanders and their staffs with guidance on planning, coordinating and executing airborne operations); 'Conducting Ground Tactical Actions' (providing guidance on the planning and execution of activities and tasks to stabilize the situation that may arise within the framework of any operation and within the framework of any campaign); 'Air and Space Operations (refers to the general doctrine on the basis of which standard procedures for the application of capabilities for actions in aerospace during joint operations can be formulated)," the Defense Ministry said on Facebook page.
It is also noted that 280 NATO standards have now been introduced into the Ministry of Defense and the Armed Forces of Ukraine: 174 within the framework of the Ukraine-NATO Partnership Goals (primary NATO standards); 106 so-called "initiative," implemented by Ukraine outside the Partnership Goals.
