DTEK Kyiv Grids has completed the modernization of three high-voltage substations in Kyiv, which supply power to part of the Pechersky, Solomiansky, Holosiyivsky, Shevchenkivsky districts and the Left Bank, the company's press service reported.

According to it, the updated equipment helped power engineers improve the reliability of power supply to 247 high-rise buildings and a number of socially important facilities in these areas.

In particular, at three high-voltage substations in Kyiv, DTEK Kyiv Grids replaced electrical equipment with modern and more powerful ones. Also, power transformers that had reached the end of their service life were updated, input cells were modernized, old oil switches were replaced with vacuum ones, overvoltage limiters were installed and the relay protection system was reconstructed.
