Minister of Defense of Ukraine Oleksiy Reznikov has confirmed the arrival of Patriot anti-aircraft missile systems in Ukraine.

"Today, our beautiful Ukrainian sky becomes more secure because Patriot air defense systems have arrived in Ukraine. Our air defenders have mastered them as fast as they could. And our partners have kept their word. This is the result of hard work led by our President Volodymyr Zelenskyy," Reznilov said on Twitter.

Reznikov thanked Pentagon Chief Lloyd Austin, German Defense Minister Boris Pistorius, the Federal Ministry of Defense, Dutch Defense Minister Kajsa Ollongren, as well as the people of the United States, Germany and the Netherlands for their support.

"We will win together," the minister said.

Later, Deputy Minister of Ukraine Oleksandr Pavliuk said in his Telegram channel that Patriot air defense systems had arrived in Ukraine from the United States, the Netherlands and Germany.

"Such air defense systems will make it possible to defend against attacks by Russian cruise missiles and UAVs. Thanks to our partners for the significant strengthening of Ukraine's air defense," he said.
