SBU detains over 350 participants of reconnaissance groups during war

Since the beginning of the war, the Security Service of Ukraine has eliminated more than 20 enemy sabotage and reconnaissance groups and detained more than 350 participants, the Ukrainian special service reports.

"Today, many of our colleagues with weapons in their hands are destroying the enemy on the battlefield. But no less important direction is countering intelligence and subversive activities. And now we are improving the experience that the SBU has gained over 30 years of its existence, and we are doing everything to ensure that all the capabilities of the special services worked as efficiently as possible for the security of the country," the SBU head Ivan Bakanov was quoted by the agency on Friday as saying on the Telegram channel.

In particular, according to the information of the Ukrainian special service, an armed sabotage group of the Russian Federation, which pretended to be a territorial defense unit, was destroyed in Kyiv, more than ten agents of the Russian special services were exposed in Luhansk region, and Russian agents who collected intelligence about Ukrainian UAVs were detained.

In addition, according to the SBU, attempts to carry out "federalization" in Zaporizhia were neutralized, 89 Youtube channels of Russian media and propagandists, thousands of social media accounts where the enemy received data about the Armed Forces of Ukraine were blocked.

Also, according to the department, the SBU sent materials to the National Security and Defense Council for the imposition of sanctions against the top leadership of the Russian Federation.
