Russia's occupation army is trying to establish a tough administrative and police regime in the temporarily captured settlements of Kherson region, the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine said in a report as of 12:00 Friday.

The invaders were able to temporarily occupy some settlements and establish control over communication routes in the Donetsk and Yuzhnobuzsky operational areas, have partial success in the area of the city of Rubizhne, Luhansk region, constantly shelling unprotected civilian infrastructure to intimidate the local population and limit the actions of the defense forces.

At the same time, Russian troops did not conduct active hostilities in Donetsk region, the report says.

The occupiers have not given up attempting seize the city of Izium, Kharkiv region, strengthen the grouping by introducing additional units, and take measures to organize engineering and logistics support.

In the Volyn, Polissia and Siverske directions, no significant changes were recorded in the activities of the occupying troops, they focused on the fortification equipment of the occupied lines. In the Slobozhanske and Sumy directions, the invaders are regrouping and trying to establish logistical support, and are actively conducting reconnaissance.

According to the General Staff, in connection with the consumption of almost the entire ammunition of missiles and types of ammunition, the military-political leadership of the Russian Federation decided to transfer the enterprises of the Russian military-industrial complex involved in the production of Kalibr cruise missiles and ammunition for the Smerch multiple launch rocket system to round-the-clock operating mode.
