In Khmelnytsky region, minibus with IDPs get into accident: 7 people die, 9 injured

On Wednesday morning, a minibus with displaced persons got into an accident near Khmelnytsky region, as a result of the accident, seven people died, nine were injured, the National Police of Ukraine reports.

"A traffic accident occurred today, March 16, at about 6:00 am on Kropyvnytsky-Znamianka highway near the village of Lozova, Volochysk Territorial District. A Setar bus, driven by a 61-year-old resident of Donetsk region, collided with a Mercedes-Benz Sprinter minibus (driver's data being established), which transported IDPs from the city of Dnipro in the direction of the city of Ternopil," the National Police said in a telegram channel.

The National Police informs that as a result of the accident, the driver and six passengers of the minibus died at the scene. "Another nine passengers of the vehicle were hospitalized in a hospital in Volochysk. Currently, the personal data of the dead and injured are being established. The driver and passengers of the bus were not seriously injured," the report says.
