More than 260,000 rapid tests for coronavirus (COVID-19) antigen have been delivered to the regions, another 1.5 million are expected to be supplied from state-owned enterprise (SOE) Medical Procurement of Ukraine, Health Minister Maksym Stepanov said during a press briefing in Kyiv on Wednesday.

"I held a meeting with the regions on the introduction of testing using express tests for antigen. More than 260,000 express tests have been delivered to the regions. We expect the transfer of about 1.5 million more tests from Medical Procurement of Ukraine. Our goal is that we conduct at least 1 million express tests per month," he said.

"We also discussed the process of vaccination against COVID-19, in particular, that vaccination should not stop routine immunization programs, and for COVID-19, specialists from vaccination centers should be additionally involved," Stepanov said.
