NACP sends 84 administrative reports to court after analyzing reports of political parties for Q1 2018

The National Agency for the Corruption Prevention (NACP) has sent 84 administrative reports to court after analyzing financial reports of political parties for the first quarter of 2018.

"The National Agency for the Corruption Prevention drafted 84 administrative reports based on the analysis of reports of political parties on property, income, expenditure and financial obligations for the first quarter of 2018 and sent them to court," the agency said.

According to the information of the NACP, 45 administrative reports were compiled according to Article 212-15 of the Code of Administrative Offenses of Ukraine (violation of the procedure for granting and receiving a contribution to support the party).

Another 36 protocols were sent to court in connection with the violation of Article 212-21 of the Code of Administrative Offenses on the procedure or deadlines for submitting a political party's report on property, income and expenses, or in connection with filing a financial statement in violation of established requirements.

In addition, the NACP sent three reports to court on the basis of violation of Article 188-46 of the Code of Administrative Offenses in connection with the failure to comply with the agency's requirements to eliminate violations of legislation on preventing and combating corruption, failure to provide information and documents.

According to the information of the NACP, the largest number of administrative reports was drawn up against persons who made contributions in support of the political parties Ukrop and Samopomich in violation of the procedure established by law for the provision of these contributions, and the Svoboda party regarding the late refusal of the party from contributions made contrary to Article 15 of the Law on political parties.

The administrative reports were sent to the district courts of different regions of Ukraine.
