OSCE Secretary General Thomas Greminger met with Deputy Foreign Minister Vasyl Bodnar in Kyiv on Thursday and thanked Ukraine for supporting the work of the OSCE Special Monitoring Mission (SMM).

"Had a very constructive and friendly meeting with Vasyl Bodnar, the MFA of Ukraine, and thanked Ukraine's government for supporting the work of the OSCE SMM," Greminger wrote on Twitter.

The Ukrainian Foreign Ministry, in turn, wrote on Twitter that Bodnar had a "comprehensive meeting" with the OSCE secretary general and Italian Deputy Foreign Minister Guglielmo Picchi.

"Support of sovereignty and territorial integrity of Ukraine and assistance in achieving peace in Donbas were expressed," the ministry said after the meeting.

As reported, Greminger will visit eastern Ukraine on Friday, July 27, and hold a briefing for journalists in Kramatorsk (Donetsk region).
