JFO HQ reports 33 enemy attacks in past day with no casualties
Russian hybrid occupation forces have mounted 33 attacks on Ukrainian troops in Donbas in the past day, using heavy weapons in three instances with no casualties reported, the press centre of the Joint Forces Operation (JFO) has reported.
"The enemy opened fire 33 times on the positions of our troops, including three times from heavy weapons, which is prohibited by Minsk agreements ... Over the past day, there have been no casualties among the JFO personnel," the press center of Ukraine's JFO said in its update on Facebook on July 25, 2018.
It says that the Russian occupation forces opened aimed fire at the defenders of Krymske, Zolote, Luhanske, Pivdenne, Novhorodske, Zalizne, Avdiyivka, Maryinka, Opytne, Pisky, Novotroyitske, Vodiane, Pavlopil, Talakivka, Lebedynske and Shyrokyne. Along with this, the invaders used a 120mm mortar near Vodiane, 122mm artillery systems in Novotroyitske, as well as launched 122mm artillery shells, 120mm and 82mm mortar shells toward Lebedynske.
According to Ukrainian intelligence, one militant was injured.
"Since Wednesday midnight, Russian-led forces have mounted two attacks on the Ukrainian positions near Luhanske and Pivdenne," the report reads.
