Ukraine reports 38 attacks on its positions in Donbas in past day
Ukrainian army positions in Donbas came under 38 attacks over the past day, the press service of the Anti-Terrorist Operation (ATO) Headquarters said on Facebook on Tuesday morning.
"Once again, the hostiles concentrated their attacks on the Mariupol sector [...]. They were firing 120mm and 82mm mortars, grenade launchers and infantry combat vehicle weapons on Krasnohorivka, Shyrokyne, Starohnativka, Maryinka, and Talakivka. A sniper was active in Novotroitske, Hnutove and Maryinka," the report said.
The village of Krymske was the center of hostilities in the Luhansk sector: anti-aircraft guns, grenade launchers, mortars, infantry combat vehicle weapons and other armaments were used there. In addition, Novo-Oleksandrivka and Novozvanivka came under attack, and sniper fire was observed in the vicinity of Stanytsia Luhanska, it said.
Mortars, grenade launchers, small arms and infantry combat vehicles were engaged in attacks on Ukrainian army positions near Avdiyivka and Luhanske in the Donetsk sector, the report said.
